Exciting New Features Coming to ScrapApe

At ScrapApe, we're constantly working to improve our WhatsApp media management assistant based on user feedback and emerging technologies. We're excited to share a preview of the new features and enhancements that will be rolling out in the coming months.

1. Advanced AI Media Recognition

One of our most anticipated features is the integration of advanced AI for media recognition. This will enable ScrapApe to:

• Automatically tag images based on their content (e.g., "receipt," "product photo," "diagram")
• Extract text from images to make documents fully searchable
• Recognize faces in photos for better organization of people-centric media

This feature will make organizing and finding specific media even easier, as you'll be able to search using natural language like "find all receipts from last month" or "show me photos with John."

2. Multi-Platform Support

While ScrapApe started as a WhatsApp-focused assistant, we're expanding to support additional messaging platforms:

• Telegram integration - Use the same commands to manage media across both WhatsApp and Telegram
• Signal support - Coming later this year
• Cross-platform search - Find media across all your connected messaging apps with a single command

This expansion will allow you to use ScrapApe as your universal media management solution, regardless of which messaging apps your contacts prefer.

3. Enhanced Team Collaboration

For our Business plan users, we're introducing powerful new collaboration features:

These features will make ScrapApe an even more valuable tool for businesses that rely on WhatsApp for client communication and team collaboration.

4. Custom Workflows and Automations

We're developing a powerful workflow builder that will allow you to create custom automations:

• Conditional actions - "If media contains [keyword], then [action]"
• Multi-step workflows - Chain together commands for complex operations
• Scheduled triggers - Set workflows to run at specific times or intervals
• Integration with other services - Connect with cloud storage, email, and more

For example, you could create a workflow that automatically downloads invoice images from a specific chat, converts them to PDFs, tags them with the date and sender, and uploads them to your accounting software.
